I Am
I am Young Yu. I am the king of my country China. I wear a long dragon robe and red belt, it symbolizes power . I also wear a long white necklace. The wall is paint with dragon. I look serious, but I feel tired and sad about this collective crowd gathered every week in front of the palace and the streets. I am siting on my throne waiting for the other members to make a decision. I am thinking about the future of this country and the adolescents. What will happen if this crowd increases and revolt against me.
My Neighborhood
Cambria Heights is a middle class neighborhood in the southeastem portion of the New York City borough of queens. It is bounded by Springfield boulevard and Francis Lewis boulevard to the west. In my neighborhood there are a lot of places. The place I am going to describe is the library. It is located at Linden Boulevard Cambria Height in queens. I choose the library for many reasons. First, I think the library is an important place where people come to learn about themselves or their communities. Second, the library provide helpful information and opportunities to connect with new communities. I mean know about their culture, laws and subculture. The library also teach teens important skills as the people's University. Finally, it is a quiet place you can find peace. There are no noises to interrupt you.
"THE UNICORN IN THE GARDEN" IS A SHORT IRONY STORY WRITTEN BY JAMES THURBER I READ AND I REALLY ENJOYED IT.
The husband looks out his window one sunny morning and he sees a unicorn in the garden. Although he tells his wife about the unicorn. She doesn't believe him. The husband speaks politely, but the wife answers very rudely. When the husband leaves, the wife calls the police and a psychiatrist. She is very excited because she wants to get rid of her husband. As soon as the police and the psychiatrist arrive, they ask some questions. They ask the husband about the unicorn, but he denies everything about this mythical animal. They take the wife away because they think she is the crazy person. I really enjoyed "the Unicorn in the garden" because the ending is so ironical. I was expecting the police and the psychiatrist to take the man away, but they end up taking the wife away instead. I also like the ending, but the rude wife doesn't succeed in her plan to get rid of her husband. He's polite, but she's rude. She gets what she deserves.and he lives happily ever after.
RURAL BOY
I am Marc a poor countryman, I own a small piece of land for cultivation. I finish to work earlier today. I am leaning against a horse. One hand on my head thinking about the rain who coming and how the harvest will be profit for me. I am thinking also about how urban people live. I think their life is different to a rural people. The air they breathe, the food they eat, and their activities. I think one day I can go there to visit them.

DESPAIR OLD MAN
He has bags under his eyes. Seating in a chair the old man is thinking about his life in the past. How he was courageous, healthy, helper and friendly to people. Now he is alone. He has nobody to help him. He has sunken cheeks. Maybe he is suffering from malnutrition then his family put him on a sanatorium room because they are so busy they can't take care of him. Or maybe he is in a Nursing Home, sad, desperate, thinking about his illness, his family who abandoned him, and never came to visit him.
Trip to Manhattan at EL MUSEO DEL BARRIO
Yesterday was a wonderful journey for me. My classmates and I we visited EL MUSEO DEL BARRIO. It located in the EAST HARLEM NEIGHBORHOOD of NEW YORK City. This museum specializes in LATIN AMERICAN and CARIBBEAN ART. first of all, to go there, I took the Q27 to flushing to meet Lin. Secondly, we took the seven train to Grand Central, then we got off and changed to six train to 103 streets. When we arrived, we got off and we walked three blocks to get the museum. We arrived early and waited for others . Inside we gave our staff at the post office then we went to El cafe room the cafeteria and waited for late students. After, A guide explained us what to do. He guided us in a room, asked us questions to describe a drum object and three drama paintings. He divided us by groups of four to find a art and discuss about it, ask questions what is going on in this picture? what do you see that makes you say that? what more can we find?. I choose a paint base on the nature. a valley there are a lot of green trees, few houses, big mountains and a lake. I think people who live there came for vacation only and they breath fresh air. After each group finished to discuss about the painting each student chose, we reunited in the middle of a room and discussed together. At the end, we went to El cafe and ate together. this journey will be an unforgettable day in my life in clip college.
